Christine Jan

Our Practice Manager Christine joined the team at Lower Plenty Veterinary Clinic whilst on university placement in 2018. Since then, she has held several positions at the clinic whilst also studying her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Melbourne. Once she completes her degree she hopes to work as a mixed practice veterinarian in rural Victoria as she enjoys working with large animals.

Christine has a vast history of experience with animals having grown up on a cattle farm in Gippsland. She has also spent time volunteering with wildlife in South Africa, Orangutans in Borneo and street dogs in Thailand. At home she has a beautiful Briard named Camo.

Courtney is our Nurse Manager. You can find her all over the clinic though! She is no stranger to reception, surgery or consultations and is always willing to help. She grew up in Viewbank nearby, so is a familiar face to many of our clients.

She grew up in Viewbank nearby, so is a familiar face to many of our clients. She has completed her Bachelor of Equine Science, although has found her way into small animals in Melbourne.

Courtney owns a eleven year old Golden Retriever named Spencer, and a retired Thoroughbred called Chilly. Both keep her very busy! She has a passion for reproduction and one day hopes to breed horses. For now though she loves hanging out with her furry friends at the clinic and getting to know all of our clients.

Celeste Argent

Celeste’s passion and love for all animals big and small has drawn her to a career in animal care. Celeste has completed a Certificate I in Animal Studies and is looking forward to starting her studies in Veterinary Nursing.

At home, Celeste lives with her German Shepherd Aston, and Nugget the Jack Russell (who runs the household of course!). Not to forget little Chicken; the rescue budgie.
